Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions in their entirety prior to ordering goods.

Security

WetMode realises that one of the greatest worries that people have about purchasing on the web is that of security.  This is why we have invested much time and money in the best possible systems to ensure that your data remains safe.

'Hacking' is a term used to describe the action of individuals or programs to 'break in' to computer systems with the aim of either stealing information or taking control of that system.  Hacking exploits vulnerabilities caused either by bad programming or 'bad practice' in the basic set-up of the system.  The WetMode Website is scanned on a daily basis by a specialist independent outside company to ensure that there are no known hacker vulnerabilities, ensuring that the data you enter stays secure.

This website is secured using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. Imagine sending a letter through the post in a transparent envelope.  Anyone with access to it can see the data.  If it looks valuable, they might take it or change it.  An SSL Certificate establishes a private communication channel enabling encryption of the data during transmission.  Encryption scrambles the data, essentially creating an envelope for message privacy.  The WetMode Website uses a VeriSign Extended Validation (EV) SSL Certificate which meets the highest standard in the Internet security industry for Web site authentication.

Once your data reaches our on-site server for processing through our stock control system, we ensure the safety of that data from programs such as virus and spyware by employing Symantec Endpoint Protection and other secondary programs. Symantec End Point Protection employs a combination of technologies including antivirus, antispyware, firewall and intrusion prevention.  Our server and all client PC's are updated to the latest definitions and scanned on a daily basis to ensure the safety of your data.

We also offer a secure payment option - You can choose to transfer funds electronically into our account (EFT), Use funds from your PayPal account or use the PapPal on-line payment gateway to pay by Credit/Debit Card.  Our payment gateway is provided by PayPal; they provide secure online credit card and debit card payment solutions for thousands of online and mail order businesses across the World.  PayPal solely handles your card details on their secure server where they run extensive security checks and obtain card authorisation.  The merchant (WetMode Fashion & Sports Ltd) never has access to your credit card details.  The only information that WetMode holds on you is information for the purposes of ordering and/or the opt-in mailing list.  This user information is held in our database that is not directly accessible from the web. Privacy

WetMode holds information on its customers collected at the time of ordering for the processes of fulfilling the orders made.  Customers are also given the opportunity to join a mailing list, this is optional and this can be done when placing an order or through link on the website and all newsletter e-mails sent will include instructions of how to remove yourself from the mailing list.  WetMode may periodically e-mail a Loyalty point Statement to all customers that hold a balance of points.

You should note that WetMode will not sell its database of emails to a third party and all data is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Prices

All prices are in EURO and include VAT at the current rate.  We will try to maintain the price as advertised but we reserve the right to change before you place an order. Orders for outside the EEC will have VAT deducted as appropriate and the import duties will be the responsibility of the purchaser.  Product prices in the shopping cart exclude delivery charges. The carriage costs are calculated during the checkout process and are dependent on the size of the order and the destination.

Product Descriptions

WetMode attempts to be as accurate as possible.  However, WetMode does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free.  If a product offered by WetMode is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

Under 18's

WetMode does not distance sell products for purchase by children.  We sell under 18's products for purchase by adults.  If you are under 18, you may use WetMode shop only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Delivery

WetMode aims to process your order as soon as possible.  Generally we process orders placed on a working day before 1200hrs on that day.  However, during busy periods your order may be processed within 72hrs. Average delivery times for 'in stock' items are 3-4 business working days from receipt of order.

Where possible we offer an express delivery service with an average delivery time of 1-2 business working days.  However, it should be noted that occasionally our couriers experience operational difficulties and therefore this is not a guaranteed service.

An item that is not ‘in stock’ you will be informed via email about the delivery time.  This mostly occurs with hardware, boats and other large items.


Cancellation period

Customers have the right to cancel any order for stock items up to 7 working days after the day the goods were delivered.  Cancellation must be given in writing, either by letter or email.  The customer is responsible for returning the goods to WetMode at their own expense.  WetMode will refund the cost of the goods, including any delivery costs for the order within 30 days of cancellation.  The goods must be returned unused, in original packaging and fit for re-sale within 30 days from the cancellation.  Failure to return them will mean that the customer is charged for them.

Returns Policy

During the festive period we have extended our returns policy to allow you greater flexibility to return something to us.  Any items purchased after 1st November 2015 can be returned up until 31st January 2016 for a refund or exchange.

All returned goods* must be returned unused, in original packaging and fit for re-sale, as well as be accompanied with a returns form which is downloadable by

.  WetMode does not accept any responsibility for paying the costs involved in returning goods to WetMode.  The costs incurred in sending unwanted items back to Rooster are the responsibility of the customer.  We also advise that proof of postage is obtained as we are not liable for items lost in transit.  All WetMode products* can be returned to us for an exchange or refund if they meet the above criteria, within 7 days of receipt.  If you would like to return an item and it is outside the 7 day period, you have up to three months to send the goods back to us for an exchange.  Returned goods are inspected in our Returns Department and replacements, exchanges or refunds are carried out within 7 working days and replacement goods are subject to availability.

*Please note that goods that were received as prizes may only be exchanged for a different size of the same item.

Faulty Products

If you believe a product of ours to be faulty from the point of sale you have 3 weeks to reject the product.  The item must be in unused condition and with proof that the product has a manufacturing fault that was present at the point of sale.  It is our decision as to how we deal with the fault, be it discount off an identical product or in-house repair, the customer will be informed via email or telephone as to our decision.

Rooster Product Guarantee's

All products have their normal manufacturer’s warranty.  


Delays

The time for completion of our work and completion of orders is given in good faith, but is not guaranteed. WetMode shall not be responsible for any delay unless it arises from our wilful acts or negligence.

Sub-contracting

We may sub-contract all or part of the work entrusted to us by the customer, on terms that any such sub-contractor shall have all the rights and benefits contained in these Terms and Conditions.  Where we exercise this right we shall remain responsible to the customer for the performance of our subcontractor.

Stock Levels

All of our products are offered subject to availability.  If for any reason we cannot supply you with any part of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone to advise you.  We may need to cancel or refund the item from your order, if funds have been debited, they will be refunded back to the source of payment.

Environmental Policy

It is part of our environmental policy that we may use recycled materials such as used cardboard boxes and bubble wrap for our customers goods packaging.

Competitions

From time to time, WetMode promotes competitions online.  Any such competition will be conducted in accordance with the Competition Terms & Conditions.

Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.
